World Nature Conservation Day : Our Responsibility To Save Earth

World Nature Conservation Day is celebrated to aware people about nature. To conserve nature and encourage sustainability every year world nature conservation day celebrated on 28 of July. It is also prove that spending more time with nature increases the quality of life. Many of the crisis in the world are face due to wastage of natural resources. In increasing problems like illegal wildlife trade and deforestation, nature has become a priority for many a countries.

However it is celebrated internationally to aware people about the practices to conserve the nature and the natural resources. Which are not in access amount such as water, soil ,trees  and many more. A healthy environment is must for healthy people and a productive society for not only this generation but the future generation as well. Let’s encourage people to conserve and sustain management of things used our everyday life.

  • Discourage wastage of food.
  • Rainwater harvesting.
  • Conserving the water resources and electricity.
  • Less use of non-renewable sources  and more use of renewable sources of energy of energy.
  • Reduce reuse and recycle.
  • Composing the vegetable and fruit peels.

These ways can go a long way to sustain life and can be done by an individual on the small scale also.

Lockdown Impact on Nature :

Due to this lockdown under the ongoing pandemic of COVID -19, the nature has recover a lot.


Air pollution levels have dropped in India due to the less vehicular moment and industrial activities which have resulted in clean and fresh air in decades. It is believed that it is the biggest fall of carbon dioxide emission after world war 2.

NASA satellite sensors have observed level at a 20 year low for this time of the year in parts of northern India. Due to this the skies are clear, stars are seen again, India gate can be pictured. Dhauladhar range also can be seen from Jalandhar and Kangchenjunga is visible from west Bengal’s Siliguri.

The ozone is also healing due to less industrial activities and the unprecedented northern hemisphere ozone hole has come to an end.

Lake water quality has improved during lockdown. Suspended particular matter concentration in Vembada  lake decreased by 15.9 percent. Canals of Venice became cleaner and clearer due to less tourist activities, motor boat and pollution. Ganga water is now clean to drink.

Humans have polluted seas, beaches and oceans that organisms in water have to live below the water. After all Many tourist activities disturb them. Above this made us believe that many of the species extended before 2020 but during the lockdown under COVID-19 they are visible. Joint blooms of pink jellyfish we seen in Philippines. Dolphins are seen in Kolkata almost after 3 decades. Leather bag sea turtles nests found in Thailand after to two decades  on empty beaches.

Conclusion

But it must be kept in mind that after the lockdown also we must save the nature. it is very important for us and our next  generations also.
