The camera app in the OnePlus 8 Pro has a X-Ray filter named “Photochrom”; which is allowing to see through some black coloured objects (Plastics & Clothes Etc) ,Several reports claimed to have this feature.
The fourth camera on the OnePlus 8 Pro is the colour filter camera; which allows more artistic lighting and color effects to be add to photos. As per the reports this utilization of the camera along with some creative handling of the data it delivers allows some magical results. If you’re using the camera to snap a photograph of a remote control for your TV, for example; and you’ve got some sunlight nearby, it’s very possible you’ll be able to see right through the outer layer of your remote’s plastic.
Although the ability to see-through objects is limited only to thin black clothes and very thin black plastic. it can also end up giving birth to some problems related to privacy.
The reports revealed that Recently OnePlus has announced that it will temporarily disable the “color filter” camera of X-Ray on the OnePlus 8 Pro in a future update. The functionality will apparently return in the future when OnePlus can limit “other functionality that may be of concern. The smartphone seller decide to drop a camera temporarily to end the privacy concerns; that arose due to the revelation of see-through capabilities of the camera.
