SBI Alert Indian Users for Cyber Attack

SBI alert Indian users for cyber attack by the fake email. A fake email is circulate these days from email ID -‘ncov2019@gov.in’. The email has subject line of Free COVID-19 Testing.

The criminals are planning to theft the personal data of 2 million users in India by this fake mail. Also SBI aware all the users of Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad to alert from these types of mails. And the mail ID have domain name as GOV. which is generally in India gov domain is used by government officials. And the criminals are taking benefit by using this domain to make people fool. So that people can easily believe that email come from government and they share there personal details.

A day before SBI, Indian Computer Emergency Response Team also issued advisory on its twitter handle about this email phishing attack. these mails attack will be started from 21 June.

CERT also give instruction on how can user save themselves from these mails by using best practices. SBI alert Indian users for cyber attack because an hacking attack was done 2016 where many ATM’s got effected.Hackers stole many details then with debit card information so SBI issued 6 lakh new debit card to users.
