TikTok-Microsoft deal -Tiktok Will Back To India Soon ?

The Chinese app TikTok was firstly banned by India for security reasons. After that, America were planning to ban. Even President Donald Trump himself and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have given many statements about this. But what has happened in the last 24 hours is shocking that the US company Microsoft may acquire TikTok.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, the advance talk between Microsoft and ByteDance continues. The deal is likely to be final by Monday. Please tell that Bytdance is the parent company of Tiktok.

The US is the second largest market for Tiktok and India was the first largest market. If the deals finalized then Microsoft will now be responsible for the data of the users of Tiktok in the US. Users data will be stored on Microsoft’s servers.

TikTok, especially popular with young audiences who create and watch its short-form videos, has an estimated one billion users worldwide. Also It has grown even faster as the coronavirus pandemic has pushed people physically away from each other, but into close contact online.

Earlier media reports had suggested Trump would require that the app’s US operations be divested from ByteDance, but he instead announced a ban within 24 hours.
